If you’ve ever had cats, you know the struggle of finding an attractive, practical way to contain their litter box. Finding the right balance between function and visual appeal often means sacrificing one for the other. But now you don’t have to! This DIY litter box enclosure is an easy and cost-effective way to keep your home smelling fresh and looking chic. So, get ready to say goodbye to unsightly boxes and hello to a litter box set-up you can be proud of!
Litter boxes are a pain to clean, so I got the litter robot 3 when I got my second cat because it was a lot of scooping. It basically looks like a cat spaceship. And as neat as it looks, I really wanted to find a way to conceal it.
However, the litter box enclosures that the company that makes litter robot has are very expensive… they are at least $499…
Additionally, it’s really hard to find a cheap litter box enclosure that can fit the litter robot because it’s HUGE. Therefore, I made my own DIY hack.

Steps
First, I did A LOT of research. Eventually, I found an IKEA kitchen corner base cabinet that I turned upside down that could fit the litter robot that was only $90!
Then, I cut out a box on the side for the cats to be able to get in and out. At first, I used a miter saw, but it got too close to the edge. So, I ended up using a jig saw with a jig saw guide to cut the square out.
Next, this step is optional. I had upgraded my guest bathroom vanity countertop with this marble epoxy kit. I had a lot left over, so I also used that to do the top of my litter box enclosure.
Lastly, I used peel and stick wallpaper to cover the door to give it a little bit of pop.
Now, I do not have to look at the litter box, but I still have a door to open it and clean out the litter box!
